Discuss The Tudors

I've been spending the last few weeks binge watching The Tudors on Showtime. It's amazing! Where do I start? The women's dresses, seeing Henry Cavill practically naked in season one, the music, all the sexy time (which takes a little getting used to), the different locations, seeing 2 future members of the cast of Reign in prominent roles, the sets, all of the different talented actors and actresses in the many roles in the series (including Tom the Chauffeur from Downtown Abbey before he was driving for the Crawleys). And last but not least, Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Henry VII. He plays Henry like the not nice person he was, but there are scenes where he comes across as almost lovable. It's interesting that the 2 leads in this series, Meyers and Cavill, have appeared in Mission Impossible movies: Meyers as an IMF Agent in Mission Impossible III, and Cavill as the main Villian in Mission Impossible Fallout.
