This movie was actually kind of a disappointment. When they started showing to trailer for this movie, I actually got very excited to see it. Especially after seeing Elisabeth Berkeley in her underwear running her tongue up a pole. But then I FINALLY saw it. It was...OKAY. As much as I love female nudity, there was way too much in this movie and it was portrayed rather tastelessly. The only really good scene is the sex scene in the pool to be honest in terms of nudity. The story wasn't GREAT, but I got through it. And it way the movie ended was actually kinda funny.

It was hyped like crazy when it was released, but yeah, not very memorable. Joe Eszterhas was the golden boy of salacious big budget 90's studio films, so they put a lot of money into marketing of his films which had mad production value.
Studios know very well how to sell crap.

It was hyped as the first major release with an NC-17 rating and failed abysmally.
I thought it was pretty average on release but over time I appreciate it more and more... Paul Verhoeven was right all along!
