Discuss Police Academy 3: Back in Training

When you watch Police Academy 2, you can see that Mauser is just a regular cop, although a bit higher in rank. He does his best to become the 'sultan instead of the sultan'. And we all know how that went.

Now, how the HECK does he suddenly have a whole police academy under his command?

How did that happen?

Of course, the movies do not explain this. So many movies have all kinds of odd inconsistencies and unexplained events that the movies do not make any effort to explaining.

It's almost as if the moviemakers didn't really care about the movies they are making, only about the money that they get from people paying to watch them.

But that couldn't be right, on a paradise-planet, like this, now could it?

So he would get his chance to prove that cadets from his academy were better than those from Lasards.

They just set him up with one for the comedy value and for some tension in the movie. It’s a plot device!
