let me start off by saying I LOVE Carlito's Way and its one of those gangster movies...similar to GoodFellas, that I rewatch almost everytime its on TV...this one, though pales in comparison to the original, wasn't as bad as many made it out to be, but my BIGGEST beef is...

What's with the ending!?!? its the ending Carlito wanted at the end of the DePalma movie...and this time he actually GETS it?!?! Is this supposed to be a TRUE prequel or a "what if" story?! Hope someone can clarify!

I saw this a long time ago and all I can remember about it is Pacino's ridiculous accent which was pretty much the same dumb accent he used for Scent of a Woman.
