Not being mirandized is not an excuse to let somebody free

Not in this case. Police have no obligation to mirandize anyone, and failure to do so does not result in the case being dropped. Unless they instigate a line of questioning that directly leads to their coming upon an answer. Even then, that just means that confession or any admittance on the accused's part is inadmissable.

They do, so that any questions they asked afterwards would be admissible. But as I recall, they had her beating up a cop on camera, so any questions asked would be irrelevant
