Well I dont't think that's too much. Them getting married isn't over the top because that's how they live in the new house together. The basketball contract was the oldest son's dream in life. So appearntly, the basketball contract isn't much because I think he gets a scholarship from it. And him being rich? Um, he was douptfully already rich when h met the single mother.
