It allegedly first aired on TV as "Dorfman in Love". I can't confirm nor debunk the TV premiere, but it did air on TV with the original title: https://skyticket.sky.de/film/emotion/dorfman-in-love/asset/filmsection/747701.html

Yes, i know this is the original title in the USA, but i won' t to correct it rather I wont write the geman tiltle from this film in german ** "L.A. Love Story - Verliebt in Los Angeles"** . Sorry for my bad english.

We only support the original German title. The OFDb confirms it was first available via Sky therefore "Dorfman in Love" is the original title and "L.A. Love Story - Verliebt in Los Angeles" is an alternative title.

In Germany most movie names are translated (the same in France), so I think it's a bit strange to use the English title because Sky uses a not yet translated version (I think they are usually doing this) where the English title is shown in the beginning of the movie. The official copyright holder for this movie in Germany is "Tiberius Film" and they also call it "L.A. Love Story - Verliebt in Los Angeles":

I wouldn't complain about this if the alternative title would work in FileBot, but unfortunately it only gives me the English title.

Also in Germany it's more common for several years now to use the original english title, you'll find a lot here in the database or IMDB, OFDB is a german database so they usually use the german title even it's only the alternative one
