This film has a great story apart from the lawyer being a drunk. What I like about it is that his addiction is not the main focus-movies that focus on an addict bore me. What is great is that the plot of this film is not his drunkeness but his being a drunk affects the great plot becasue he cannot keep himself together. One of the greats.

Agree. great movie. He went from being a drunk to hopefully a top notch lawyer again. I wanted to slap that girl friend of his. At least he had the courage to keep away from her even though he like her a lot.
