Discuss The Witch

I made a similar post on the late imdb, but I thought those two kids were adorable. Idk if its the British accent. I was hoping they had survived the nite, but after what happened to that baby at the start.... yikes that was gross and sick.

Sadly they probably we're eaten and their fat used for flying worried

Of course, their fat can only be used if they are unbaptized.

I like this film. Exceptionally written and photographed, a quality film, not just a horror film. I hope to hear great things about this director! One of my favorites of its year, alongside The Revenant in visuals, IMHO.

Yea I enjoyed it. I had hoped for a revenge ending. I didn't see this one coming. I thought the surviving daughter would go in an save the day. Or maybe the kids survive~

Definitely a slow burn. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Think the accents helped the kids lol.

It reminds me of those two British kids who were on Ellen. They would, at face, be bratty kids, but their British accents make them so adorable. Its probly cuz I am American, but hearing that accent out of a small child is so cute. Like that Scottish kid who went viral saying "It was batman!"

The two little ones (Jonas and Mercy, twins I think) were annoying as all get out. I really only felt bad for Caleb and a little for Thomasin. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and also watched it with subtitles.
