Hi! I haven't seen the film, could you please explain what's wrong with the current overview?
We could maybe use something like "As Nat Turner, a literate slave and preacher, witnesses countless atrocities - against himself and his fellow slaves - he orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom." instead ?
