Scintillating, glossy comedy makes sharp digs at game shows, sponsorship and celebrity. Ronald Colman as genius Beauregarde Bottomley, who becomes a sensation by refusing to quit a radio quiz programme on which a single question each week doubles his money, and Vincent Price as the extremely eccentric soap magnate who refuses him a job and becomes the target of Bottomley's vendetta - two of the most wonderful voices in Hollywood, both at the top of their game here. Great fun from start to finish.

Finally, someone else who's seen and likes this movie! I've been a big fan of Ronald Colman's, and I like Vincent Price as well. I thought this movie was hilarious, but at the same time very intelligent...in a very fun way. Ronald Colman should've done more comedy. Though that's not to say I don't like his dramas. He was a brilliant dramatic actor, and that wonderful voice! He's always so expressive and his performances really get you, y'know?
