Burt Bacharach's death yesterday, and today thinking of his many wonderful songs, has brought on a flood of memories for me of random things in the past that are from during the decades-long era of his run of hits.

Although this movie's hit theme song, performed by The Seekers, has no connection to Bacharach, it's one of the things that I find myself recalling. When I was a kid, I loved it, and singing along to it. (Later, also I enjoyed, multiple times throughout the years, the movie.)
