Discuss Mr. Skeffington

Excellent portrayal of a vain, self-focused woman, for which Davis received a Best Actress Oscar nomination. Rains is also wonderful as her long-suffering husband. A superb character study of both main characters, helped by a fine supporting cast. If the ending doesn't affect you, then you have no soul.

One of my favorite Bette Davis films.

A great film that only got better the longer you watched it. Great supporting cast. Walter Abel was excellent as Georgie. Trippy was a bit of an annoying character, they didn't flesh him out properly for giving cause for his annoyance. I would've liked a scene with Fanny (their child) and Mr. Skeffington in the end, just for her to see her father once more.
