Discuss Tomorrow, When the War Began

I wasn't expecting much but was pretty impressed with it in the end-- tight screen play and engaging characters. Too bad, out of all the terrible franchises in the world, this one got cancelled.

I just watched this and thought, who in the world would ever care to invade Australia? ... of course... China, lol. I agree, entertaining in a non-american way, they could reboot it now and it would be more plausible.

But it's not really China!

It turns out that the origin of the invading army is never revealed. It is suggested that the original author did this in order to limit offending the country in real life, due to the way in which the army acts in the actual series.

Although UK doing it to Make Great Britain Great Again would have been fun. Wait a minute there's a entire novel series right there!
