Nothing's wrong with the source material (though the ending is a bit of a downer by today's standards). But Mario seems to think that 1989 was the when the tale originated.

Oh ok gotcha. Yeah most of the kids fair tales come from creepy old stories from hundreds of years ago. Really creepy stuff when you look into it.
