Great performance by Andra Day and a well deserved Oscar nomination on an otherwise, slightly above-average film. Kinda mixed about how much she had to be NAKED though...dang, gratutious?! I dunno

Wow, I didn't know that. I did read that the film's got some sexual content in it. I almost wonder if Lady Day could be getting exploited even this far after her death. Did you know, when she died, she had less than a dollar in her bank account?

Yeah, I was interested in Billie Holiday's life story after the film and read about that fact...so many people swindled her. So very very sad.

The factors of drugs and racism left their mark on her legacy. She wasn't the last one either.
