And what is with Jennifer Lawrence’s really awful haircuts in her last two movies?

I have to say I was surprised Lawrence hasn't aged much since the last movie I saw her in (which was probably 6-7 years ago), but then I saw that she's still only 30 years old.

Overall I thought the cast was pretty wasted. Meryl Streep played her part as though she absolutely hated her own character (or hates people in power so much that she gleefully took the part in order to passive-aggressively portray one as a total moron). It reminded me of Jodie Foster as the antagonist in Elysium. Neither character was believable in any way or even slightly likeable. I think a good villain like Alan Rickman in DIE HARD works so well because we understand his motivation and he still exhibits likeable qualities like charm and intellect. Foster and Streep here seemed to disagree (along with whoever wrote their characters).

A stellar cast but a huge miss

Yeah. Hollywood is still trying to sell us on DiCaprio as a heterosexual. There were no shortage of opportunities in DLU in include a sequence in which Leo turns down an invitation into a pre-pregnancy JLaw's bed, and instead opts to run down to the park for a midnight tryst with Jonah Hill. Producers remain intent on treating us as if we haven't all been wise to this particular scam since the 90s

Dude what? Of course Leo is hetero! Dude has banged more model tail that we can even imagine. Where did you get this nonsense?

Stellar cast of Hollywood's most woke.
