As most of you know (or at least you should), French composer Eric Serra did the soundtrack for Goldeneye. Now this is not your father's Bond soundtrack, but I think that it's very good. It's different, but I like the industrial sounding vibe.

It's more than passable of a score for me. Would place it comfortably above FYEO and SPECTRE's. I also dig the industrial sound as you pointed out, but in particular it's those echoing drums that play the JB Theme... It elevates the PTS. Other than that I just love the archive escape music. Great stuff.

I really hate the FYEO soundtrack. Disco music and James Bond movies definitely do not make a good match.

I just don't like the disco in FYEO. The Bond '77 disco theme from TSWLM works perfectly. Surely you don't mind that track??

Which particular disco track in that movie are you talking about? If it's the part when the Lamborghini pursuit occurs, that's not bad.

The track is called Bond 77 by Hamlisch. It's the one that you hear during the iconic ski chase towards the start of the film and it ends as he goes off the mountain.
P.S. I think you meant to say Lotus, not Lamborghini.

Thanks. And you're right about the car. I didn't realize my mistake about the car until an hour after I posted.
