This film started out in a very strange way, but after a while, I liked the odd nature of how it was all done and shot. The subject matter is dark sometimes, but also comedic to a certain degree. I'm sure the coincidence of this film coming out in 2009 and what happened to David Carradine the same year is not lost on the filmmakers. I understand that Carradine's death was by most accounts an accidental suicide due to autoerotic asphyxiation, but still, given what he says in this film, I found it eerie.
