Yes, this was a Completely Silent movie, which was odd. Even minor foreign silent movies had some kind of musical soundtrack, but not this 1932 tale. Still, it was an interesting movie, touching on "the old school ties" that linked these college students after graduation. The TV Guide stated that "the current President of the company uses his old college classmates as cheap labor." These former "below-C-level" college students got "the ride of a lifetime" into a successful trading company during an economic depression.

This was the Spectrum TV guide. I recall that some cable TV systems use something that is/was as uninformative and full of advertising as TV Guide used to be. I gave it up when they ditched the time zone-correct staff and data. It was quite impossible to figure out what was playing "West of California" when all they published were East coast U.S. show times.
