Discuss The Manchurian Candidate

Janet Leigh spends quite a bit of her dialogue talking weird. For one thing. I thought it was going to be different thing about her character. She was usually more normal in her films than that. Also, the way Laurence Harvey and Angela Lansbury speak to each other is much the way grown sons often talk to their moms. See my postings on M*A*S*H.

Did you get excitement from the big moment toward the end?

The film really seemed so fake to me. Frank Sinatra not that believable to be in a drama like this. He was better suited to "Guys and Dolls"with Brando.

Contradiction to my statement it really seemed realistic with the way Lansbury and Harvey spoke to each other. I wish someone else had had Frank's role.
