Discuss Ultraviolet

Everything was so smooth and unrealistic, like one big soft glow/blur filter was applied. Sometimes you could barely see Violet's nose. Smooth skin though, must be nice! sunglasses

And the fighting scenes weren't really... real either. Enhanced superhuman okay, but killing a hundred people with one strike... nah. She must've been mind-tricking them into dying. laughing

Yeah this was tough to watch, just felt all-around fake like some kind of cartoon acid trip. Not sure if I even finished it. Milla looked good, that's about all I can say.

Yeah indeed. At the beginning I thought it was a combination of animation/live-action to be honest. I read theres a book based on the movie, and that one is supposed to be better. Got rid of (some of) the unrealistic portions of the story or something, and a different ending. I think I'll check that out!

A lot of films around 2005 look bad because they would always use layers and layers and layers of palettes, which ruined the natural look of the films. Tv also went through a similar phase that I'd like to call Miami-color. Just watch anything set in Miami around 2000-05 and you'll see it.

I liked it. Many TV shows and movies now have a dull filter and there are scenes that are just so dark, grey or beige/green, drab and dreary.
