Yes, I do know Laur-el. She changed her name on IMDB too. Why do you ask?

Phoebe21 and Poetist, that's awesome you remember her. I didn't realize she changed her name on IMDB. I thought her name remained Laur-el when the boards shut down.

Anyway, she seemed very knowledgeable and was always very polite. She was one of the few I would DM to get into deeper discussions about Henry and his movies.

I was hoping to find her again. Is she around here? Are there other forums former IMDB folks have landed onto?

She had a name before she was Laur-el. I don't remember it. This was no secret or anything. I only remember her, because her writing style changed -- drastically at times.

I think once IMDB imploded, people went in bits and piece to different sites. I remember having a quasi beef w/Laur-El before she was Laur-El. When she changed her name, she said she was no longer going to talk about his personal life and focus more on the movies. I think if she is on this site, she's once again changed her name. It's possible she is now Jessica Drew, who post on the superhero threads.

Here's why I think that.

Jessica Drew, from what I can tell, only posts on superhero movie stuff, which was what Laur-el was mostly doing on IMDB. Jessica Drew is a female superhero's name much like Laur-El. Plus, Jessica Drew migrated to this board the same time as most of us February 2017. That most likely means she is an IMDB castaway. The only thing is that she hasn't posted on this page, yet it wouldn't be anything unusual for Laur-el.

With all this said, this is just a hunch. This is not said with any certainty, but you can give it a try. I spotted Jessica Drew on the JL page, but she doesn't post much there. She could be over on the Marvel threads.
