Lots of HC to look forward to.

This is DR’s first time writing and directing a film. So I went in with low expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. Nomis or Night Hunter was a pretty decent film. BF really stole the show. HC was eye candy even with the messy hair.

I just read on SHM that WB put Shazam 2 on hold. Apparently, it didn’t make enough money. The BO numbers will be better if they add BA/DJ. But they will need a higher PB to pay DJ’s salary and WB wants to keep the PB low.

No shock there. At least in this case, HC is the bigger name. But why did BR get $1 mlj for SR and GG only $300K for WW? BR had nothing of note before SR. GG was part of the successful F&F franchise before WW. HC got a lot of money for MOS and he didn’t have much on his filmography either. Although, he had a mufti picture deal, unlike the other two.

Still, men get paid more. Mark Wahlberg got $1.5 mlj for reshooting "All the Money in the World" and Michelle Williams was paid less than a $1000. Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams were paid less than their male costars in "American Hustle." So of course HC gets paid buckets with money and the leading lady gets peanuts.

I really hope the ladies won’t be showing Brazilian waxed coochies in every ep while the men only show their hairy butts. Everybody keep their clothes on.

I think the part about Superman and Green Lantern is just speculations. People think Abrams will replace Cavill now that Pattison is Batman, because Batman can’t be younger than Superman. Nonsense! Of course he can. The story could be set in the past. Superman was a preschooler when ‘Wonder Woman 84’ happened. And with New Gods in development, the story could be set in an alternate or parallel reality too.

At first, I thought that was an awful thing to do. In retrospect, he got paid way too much for JL. Good for him. But as a young woman, I think GG should have been paid more. Her part was bigger than HC's.

DR:
Well nothing worked how it should have done and not all of that was the weather’s fault, but alas. Cars freeze, so you can’t shoot with them, squibs don’t work, rigs fail, cameras freeze up and if Henry didn’t spend countless hours doing squats his arse muscles wouldn’t have saved him from breaking something when he slipped head over foot on the ice. Fortunately, he got right back up and smiled whereas, when I slipped over, things cracked I didn’t even know could crack.

Truth is… the cold adds something on screen you can’t replicate. The downside is it eats up your time and what little money you’ve got available in the first place, so you’re always playing catch up... with a big cast who you only have for a very limited amount of time -- that’s a nightmare.

WB/DC did make some awful films, but they pay their lead actors much better for their first film than Disney/Marvel. Both studios pay their actresses peanuts.

HC might have done that again. The geeks say he signed a 3 season deal with Netflix. I can’t find an official statement about that. But Netflix is known for financing their shows differently than TV show producers. They provide the dough upfront and order 2 seasons.

That sounds weird. But with all the (upcoming) competition in the streaming service, each player is trying to get and keep what they consider talent. Actors and actresses are paid a lot p/ep the first season. That’s crazy. You don’t know if people will watch the show. Normally, you give them a raise the second season if the first season was a hit. But not anymore.

They can make HC younger. Look at SLJ in CM and Will Smith in Gemini Man.

Actors and actresses are paid a lot p/ep the first season. That’s crazy. You don’t know if people will watch the show. Normally, you give them a raise the second season if the first season was a hit. But not anymore.

It’s indeed crazy. Netflix started it and now all the big players are doing it. Netflix is still the lead. But we’ll see what will happen when Disney+ and Apple TV+ enter the game this year and HBO Max and NBCUniversal next year. They all would want to get and keep talent and eye candies.

Her hubby seems to adore her. That’s good. He has (too) many pics of her on his IG. Is cute and a little too much at the same time. He’s like two or three years older than me. We’ll be like two babies in a crib. Nobody will learn anything new from the experience.

NH is on NX UK. This is really frustrating and makes me want to quit NX. Every NX member should have access to everything in NX’s library. I shouldn’t have to call the geeks to adjust only God knows what to my PC to have access to NX UK. Then they have to change it back. Maybe I should just watch everything on illegal film sites and save myself a couple of bucks every month.

There’s a war among streaming services to keep people entertain during this pandemic. I’d be a bit disappointed if I had a film or series coming out right now. People are watching everything. A high amount of views doesn’t mean that all those people watched your film or series because they wanted to. I just watched Code 8 on NX. I wouldn’t have watched it if I wasn’t bored and eager to watch something.
