Park Bo-young (박보영) is a South Korean actress. Born on February 12, 1990, she first debuted with a supporting role in the television series Secret Campus (2006) and continued playing minor roles in television until her breakout role as a teenaged single mother reconnecting with her celebrity father in the comedy Scandal Makers (2008). In 2010, she took a short hiatus after being involved in legal disputes with her then-management agency and a film production company.

The fantasy romance A Werewolf Boy (2012) marked Park's return to the spotlight, becoming one of the most successful Korean melodramas of all time. In 2015, she made her comeback to television, with dual roles in supernatural romance Oh My Ghost, making Park one of the highest paid actresses on television. Other notable works include one of the highest-rated Korean cable dramas of all time, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017), and romantic film On Your Wedding Day (2018), which became the most watched romance film in South Korea the year it was released.

In 2023, Park starred in the disaster thriller Concrete Utopia, South Korea's official international feature submission for the 96th Academy Awards, and the Netflix Original series Daily Dose of Sunshine.

1990년생인 박보영은 EBS 청소년 드라마 <비밀의 교정>(2006(에서 여고생 차아랑 역을 맡으며 배우로 데뷔했다. 이후 SBS 드라마 <왕과 나>에서 어린 제헌왕후 역을 맡아 2007년 SBS 연기대상 여자 아역상을 수상했으며, TV 드라마 <왕과 나> <달려라 고등어> 등에 출연했다.

충무로 대표 20대 여배우로 특히 영화 쪽에서 활발한 활동을 보여주고 있다. 《과속스캔들》은 그 당시 코미디 영화 흥행 1위를 기록했으며, 《늑대소년》은 멜로 영화 최고 기록을 세웠다. 또한 《너의 결혼식》은 282만명의 관객을 극장으로 불러모으며 멜로퀸의 저력을 과시했다.

장르를 가리지 않고 다양한 역할을 소화하며 연기 스펙트럼을 넓혀나가고 있다. 인터뷰에 따르면 작품을 고를 때 다양한 장르를 소화하기 위해서 이전 작품에서 해보지 않은 성격의 캐릭터를 주로 선택한다고 한다. 또한 신인감독의 작품이나 규모가 작은 영화의 주연을 맡는 경우가 많은데 이와 관련해 인터뷰에서 영화를 고를 때 고민을 털어 놓기도 했다.
