YUNG KA MAN ignores the advice of her family members and finds a job at Easy Travel as a tourist guide. A tour has been cancelled because of not having enough participants. MAN is very upset. Her husband, Alex, tells his good friend, SHUM WING SING, John, who is MAN’s boss, to do something about it. MAN accepts John’s arrangement to follow the senior guide, HON SHAN, leading a short trip tour in Hong Kong for the mainland Chinese. Another tour leader, KAM CHI KIT, lies to MAN that he is the boss of a jewelry shop; MAN is angry because she is cheated to have bought a piece of white jade from him. Next day, MAN continues to go to work in order to avoid being mocked by her family members; she is surprised to know that she has to follow KIT, who leads the tour on the day. MAN despises the same dirty tricks used by both KIT and SHAN and she prepares to disclose them; KIT gives her a warning.… ...

MAN has made mistakes on the prices and names of articles that the tourists request her to buy. She therefore goes everywhere to patch up the wrongs; dinner time is delayed for the guests because of this. MAN comes across her old classmate, CHAN KIU CHOR, who is an air hostess. She then tells CHOR the accounts of the evil doings of KIT and SHAN; unexpectedly CHOR is the girlfriend of SHAN. SING and his friend, KAM KWONG HOI, go to find KIT and SHAN for playing mahjong, thinking that CHOR is not at home. However, it is too late when he sees CHOR is already there at home. At first, CHOR mistakes that MAN’s husband is in financial difficulty; she soon loses her interest when she comes to know the real cause that MAN goes to work just for fun. MAN introduces Alex to CHOR, who has an intuition that Alex and his subordinate, Bowie, may have some secret relationship.… ...

It is because of MAN that KIT gets injured and needs to go to hospital for treatment. MAN makes an excuse for not going back home and she intends to follow KIT back to his house; MAN is very angry when KIT suggests her to go to a hotel together. MAN returns home where she questions Alex as to when he has started the affair with Bowie; Alex tells her the truth and he asks MAN to forgive him. MAN leaves in anger and she stays in HOI’s guesthouse. Alex suggests a separation with Bowie. When playing mahjong, SHAN loses his temper and he throws the ivory mahjong tiles, the legacy of HOI’s late father, out of the window; KIT gives SHAN piece of good advice when they go to pick up the tiles. MAN is absent-minded to cause the micro-wave stove exploded, victimizing KIT, SHAN and other tourist guests. CHOR strongly suggests MAN to divorce Alex.… ...

In order to look for Alex, MAN makes KIT and other tourist guests running up to a train station as a result. Alex calls back and lies to Man that he is now out for business abroad; MAN feels relieved. Alex intends to divorce MAN, yet he fears that she cannot stand it. KIT is unhappy with CHOR for her instigation in persuading MAN to divorce her husband; they have a quarrel about this. CHOR discovers that SHAN secretly uses the money in the joint bank account that belongs to both of them; CHOR is angry. SHAN gets his salary in advance to go to Macau for gambling, but meets MAN in the ferry. SHAN returns, losing all the money; KIT hands over to SHAN to take of the luxurious tour that belongs to him previously as a means of help. Since MUI’s husband dies, she shifts her attention on gambling; she owes loan shark in Macau a lot of money, for which MAN and others need to redeem her back from the debt she owes.… ...

SHAN discovers the true cause why the tourists only see without buying and he scolds HOI. When KIT discloses the kindness that HOI has given to both of them, SHAN feels shameful and apologizes to HOI. Alex suggests to MAN to rekindle their love fire by taking a tour in Swiss. MAN asks the opinion from others for this, to which HOI indicates that MAN still treasures the love of Alex. However, MAN is more than happy to go for the tour and register her name to the Traveling Agency. Seeing Bowie drinking her sorrow away in a bar, Alex takes her home, ignoring the advice of SING. MAN buys the skating gears and returns home, where Alex says to MAN that Bowie is pregnant with his baby and he needs to divorce her; MAN hears a thunder in the sky. MAN intends to go to her mother’s house, where she discovers that MUI has mortgaged it. MAN decides to handle her problem alone.… ...

KIT discovers that SHAN hands over MAN the tourists who still have to arrange for accommodations, he goes out and finds a way for her. MAN takes the tourists to the holiday camps that KIT has arranged for, to which the travelers raise uproar, while KIT appears to calm them down. CHOR dresses up sexy and prepares to have candlelit dinner with SHAN when KIT returns home to spoil the atmosphere. MAN refuses when Alex comes to asks for reunion. The elder brother and younger sister of MAN discover MUI has mortgaged the house, they discuss the arrangement for the living expenses for MUI and MAN has to give her share helplessly for the payment of the house. The commission of SHAN is deduced and he is angry. After enquiries, KIT learns it is because of CHOR. KIT advises SHAN to tell CHOR to improve her attitude while CHOR is unhappy when knowing the truth. MAN avoids Alex, who turns to MUI for help, but MAN persists to turn down the reunion.… ...

MAN and KIT temporarily stay in the guesthouse, where the water-pipe suddenly bursts. Brother WING, the person responsible for maintenance, is nowhere to be found when the residents make uproar; KIT thinks a way to solve the problem. After Brother WING is begging bitterly for mercy, HOI spares him from dismissal. On the other side, HOI knows that the personnel in the guesthouse become old aged and he wants KIT to help improve the way of running the guesthouse. KIT refuses tactfully and he recommends MAN to do the job. Alex entangles MAN persistently for reunion and MAN cannot bear it. She then asks KIT to help. KIT and SING arrange to meet Alex. After the two know the whole story of why Alex requests for reunion, they despises what Alex has done and scolds him away in anger. MAN cannot help but laughs at the wording that KIT has used to scold Alex away.… ...

The frustrated SHAN moves to stay in the guesthouse, where MAN fears that he may commit suicide; because of SHAN’s situation, MAN gives the job of computer maintenance, which she is handling, to the senior worker, CHEUNG SHUK HAN, to handle. As a result, the guesthouse suffers money loss; MAN feels guilty about this. KIT takes SHAN to meal where he comes to know that CHOR is the culprit behind the scene. KIT takes NI to tour around the city. NI is very nervous because she will soon take a screen test for an international film in a studio. KIT uses tricks to make NI believe that luck is on her side. SHAN and KIT are shocked to know that the guesthouse is on fire. To retrieve the lottery ticket that has hit the jackpot, SHAN and KIT run to the fire scene where they are astounded to see HOI lying on the floor. MAN applies first aid on HOI, who finally wakes up.… ...

SHAN borrows money from HOI to buy a house, but HOI denotes he will think about it; SHAN has no alternative while CHOR is angry for losing the chance to buy a house. HOI is discharged from hospital and he announces that he will give the guesthouse to KIT, SHAN and MAN on condition that they have to make the profit of the guesthouse to be raised by 10%. After calculating the account books of the guesthouse, CHOR is overjoyed and she is expecting a bright future with SHAN. KIT and MAN go to Guangzhou for a business trip, but they miss the chance to sign a contract because MAN is unwell and she needs to go to hospital. Both of them return to Hong Kong, where they come across FAI, one of the workers in the guesthouse; the rumor spreads out fast that KIT and MAN have engaged in the man-and-woman relationship in disorderly manner.… ...

KIT uses tricks to make SHAN and CHOR to face the reality and to work properly for the guesthouse. Before KIT goes to Guangzhou for work, he tells MAN to make good preparation before the Fire Department staff come for inspection; MAN passes the job to HAN as she is busy on another one. On receiving the warning letter from Fire Department, KIT scolds MAN, to which she feels upset and runs out of the door. Soon after, KIT discovers that the guesthouse suffers no loss because of MAN’s effort; he quickly goes to MAN to deliver an apology to her. MUI reminds MAN not to accept KIT simply because of loneliness; MAN has a sleepless night. KIT and MAN know that HOI has a girlfriend and they give him good advice for fear that he may be cheated. CHOR wants to join the guesthouse to be executive manager, to which KIT objects but fails.… ...

To find out the whereabouts of NI, KIT is absent in the meeting. CHOR tells SHAN to chair the meeting and to announce the services expansion plan of the guesthouse, for which MAN calls KIT urgently to report the incident. In order to keep company with NI, KIT tells SHAN to sign contract on behalf of him with the partner, but CHOR makes a fuss in the process. Feeling KIT is trustworthy, NI confesses her background story to him, saying that she will marry Stephen secretly. CHOR indicates that her decision is smart so that the business in the guesthouse gains money; she even gives KIT a lesson. CHOR suddenly summons a meeting to propose a promotion and propaganda for the guesthouse; MAN finally cannot hold her temper any longer and she reprimands CHOR for what she does is only for her own private gain instead of doing something good for the guesthouse.… ...

The car of NI is broken down while KIT goes to give a helping hand in the countryside. NI suddenly embraces KIT in tears simply because Stephen has not divorced his wife as planned. NI then asks KIT his love stories and she comes to know why KIT is afraid of boarding a plane again. Stephen comes to look for NI, who firmly decides to leave him. KIT immediately escorts her to airport to attend a press conference in Shanghai. After seeing the certificate of appointment, CHOR feels a sense of being pinpointed for attack; SHAN comforts her and tells her to resign the job, but fails. MAN tells CHEUNG to participate the first aid training and she teaches him to practice cardiac resuscitation. MAN later knows from TIP and her grandson that CHEUNG is the master of medical profession, for which she has a sense of being made a fool of.… ...

MAN dates CHEUNG on behalf of Janet. In the conversation, MAN is shocked to discover that Janet behaves strangely. Luckily, CHEUNG and the parents of Janet come to rescue. After knowing that CHEUNG is interested in MAN, HOI creates chances for them to get along. CHEUNG confesses his love to MAN, who mistakes that CHEUNG is only making a joke about her. Not wanting MAN to be a laughingstock in the neighborhood, KIT holds MAN’s hands in his to announce they are couple. What KIT does is only to stop the widespread rumor in the neighborhood, but MAN’s heart is beating fast. CHEUNG discovers the evidence that proves HOI’s bitter love of TIP; CHEUNG comes to talk to MAN for this. As told by SING and SHAN, KIT begins to investigate the relationship of HOI and TIP. On the other side, CHEUNG and MAN take the material evidence to ask TIP.… ...

KIT and MAN play the role of best man and the bridesmaid at the wedding for HOI and TIP. When KIT and MAN choose their clothes for the occasion, they are mistaken to be the husband and wife to be wedded. After receiving a call, KIT hurries to meet NI; MAN follows KIT only to discover that KIT and NI are talking in a very harmonious manner, to which MAN feels sorrowful. NI is disturbed with negative report by reporters; KIT gives her a good comfort and he arranges NI to stay in the guesthouse to avoid the press. However, it is discovered by SHAN and CHOR, who take it as a very good chance to make propaganda for the guesthouse. MAN asks KIT if he is interested in NI, to which KIT replies in negative. SHAN informs NI of the imminent trouble so that she can leave the guesthouse in time.… ...

On the wedding day of HOI and TIP, KIT looks happy while MAN appears sorrowful in loneliness. CHEUNG taken the drunken MAN home; because of a phrase of joke, CHEUNG comes to know that MAN already has her Mr. Right in mind. However, she is frustrated about love at the moment. KIT tells NI that director CHEUNG decides to stop filming if he cannot find the right person to replace NI; she is unhappy to hear that and she expresses in anger that she will no longer live the life of filming. MAN is suffering flu and she has a sense of bitterness to herself, CHEUNG comes along, helping to take good care of her in the kitchen. KIT discovers CHOR and HAN stir up trouble against MAN again; he gives them warning letters. Both of them are disgruntled and they take photos of MAN and KIT for being late for work and being early from work; they make a report to HOI for this.… ...

CHOR hits and scolds SHAN to vent her anger about her dismissal by KIT. NI expresses to the press that she will try her best to perform well in answering the goodness and support given by KIT; KIT appreciates while MAN witnesses everything in the process in her own eyes. CHOR tells SHAN to turn his share of the guesthouse into cash from KIT, but fails. She then forces SHAN to do something to HOI. Under the pretext of marriage and buying a house, CHOR and SHAN beg HOI in tears to make their own shares in the guesthouse into cash, saying that CHOR is pregnant and that SHAN has save his life in the fire. CHEUNG exposes to MAN the ugly manners of CHOR and SHAN for begging money from HOI. KIT and MAN hurry to HOI’s house, where KIT realizes that CHOR and SHAN show no remorse on what they have done; KIT cannot help but tell HOI the truth of how HOI is saved from the fire scene.… ...

SHAN eventually sleeps in the street while MAN advises him to return home but fails; MAN is disappointed. Judging the behavior of MAN, CHEUNG figures out that the person in her heart is KIT, for which MAN denotes that it is a matter of the past. MAN offers help to replace KIT, as he is very busy, to partake in the Tourism Exposition held in Shenyang (a province in China); CHEUNG carefully gets everything ready for MAN, who appreciates. On the return journey from the business trip, MAN and HAN have a car accident, in which MAN sustains head injuries and HAN leg injuries; KIT worries very much. When KIT is on the way to Shenyang, MAN and HAN have been arranged to return to Hong Kong for medical treatment. KIT goes to visit MAN in hospital, where he confesses his love to her. It is pity that the hearing nerve of MAN is hurt and she cannot hear what KIT is said.… ...

Every time when KIT speaks about love, MAN immediately shows sign of resistance; KIT does not know how to do. KIT and MAN know from the news media that SHAN lives in temporary shelter after a fire disaster; they go and advise SHAN to go back home. However, KIT and SHAN start a dispute because of CHOR’s leaving him and they come to an unhappy ending. SING and SHAN teach KIT how to please MAN; KIT fails to make MAN happy no matter how hard he tries.… ...

KIT comes to know that all the expenses, including rents and services charge, of CHOR is paid by SHAN; KIT is strange to know that CHOR does not leave the room of the guesthouse. KIT therefore uses tricks to force SHAN to speak out the truth, but he fails. In mid night, CHOR leaves the guesthouse stealthily. Next day, three men come to the guesthouse to look for CHOR for the debt she owes. TUNG, a staff in the guesthouse, has flu for several days and is eventually sent to hospital. CHEUNG suspects that TUNG has contracted the ‘legionnaire’s disease’ in the guesthouse; MAN then shows signs of anxiety, to which CHEUNG cannot hold his temper but scolds her. MAN worries about KIT; she follows him to a clinic, where MAN asks the doctor to test KIT’s blood; KIT does not understand what her intention is.… ...

Germs of ‘legionnaire’s disease’ are found in the ventilation system of the guesthouse, where business has to be suspended for decontamination. News media flock to the guesthouse to collect information; CHEUNG suggests adopting the current method that is normally used in other countries; he also makes use of his expertise to eradicate the public worries. After asking the opinion from KIT, HOI decides to close down the guesthouse. Other personnel in the guesthouse are reluctant to do so; they suggest different strategies to cope with the difficulty. The guesthouse reopens and all staff makes their great effort to promote the business, but it does not work. When SHAN and CHOR feel down and try to give up, NI suddenly appears and she brings a turning point to the business in the guesthouse. NI and CHEUNG talk to MAN and KIT individually; KIT finally understands why MAN does not accept him.… ...
