The attorney POON KING-CHUEN, also regarded as the Absurd King, tries to support YAU-FOOK with ridiculous reasons and the magistrate KAU CHING-KO finally approves the marriage. CHOR-CHOR is forced to enter the bridal sedan chair. CHEUNG SEI-WAI, teacher of the Confucius Academy, tries to rescue CHOR-CHOR but he is beaten up by others. Luckily, head detective HA HAU-MO arrives to settle the case. SO CHUN and his wife CHOW LAN from the Good Harvest Temple are touring around with Lady Good Harvest's statue. All villagers welcome them cheerfully. SEI-WAI sighs that everyone is so superstitious and nobody worships the sage Confucius. During the wedding ceremony of CHOR-CHOR and YAU-FOOK, YAU-FOOK suddenly dies and CHOR-CHOR becomes a widow.… ...

WAI-CHUN rescues SEI-WAI. She regards herself as SEI-WAI's savior and she stays in his place. CHOW KUK arrives at the school to attend lessons in the morning. WAI-CHUN says that she is SEI-WAI's relative and she is helping him to teach voluntarily. WAI-CHUN discovers a recruitment notice for workers outside Good Harvest Temple and she applies for the job. CHOW LAN rejects her and they end up in discord. HA HAU-MO discovers that an auction of CHAN MUNG-KAT’s belongings is going on at the Antique Shop. However, they need to wait for the shop owner CHIN to return for he is the only one who knows the origin of the belongings. Butler YIM reveals that KING-CHUEN wants to purchase the whole collection of CHAN MUNG-KAT’s belongings. He wants to know the origin of the works before buying the things but his request is being rejected. The shop owner is beaten up. HA HAU-MO rescues him and he gets to know MUNG-KAT’s servant TSUI ON.… ...

WAI-CHUN admits that she was pretending to be MUNG-KAT's daughter and she threatens SEI-WAI to keep the secret for her. CHOW LAN comments that WAI-CHUN has a silver tongue and it is a pity that she cannot fight with others in the court for she is a woman. She suggests WAI-CHUN to rent a place at Good Harvest Temple to write Charge Sheets for others. KING-CHUEN is upset that the bad smell of toilet wastes is disturbing his mood to write poetry and he scolds the toilet wastes collector Madam BAO HEUNG. BAO HEUNG discovers that a man in black is giving her money. She follows him and helps him to kick away an attacker while returning the money to him. SEI-WAI discovers that CHOR-CHOR wants to disfigure her face and he stops her. CHOR-CHOR reveals that YIN-HAU is trying to harass her sexually. WAI-CHUN suggests writing a Charge Sheet for CHOR-CHOR to sue YIN-HAU. CHOR-CHOR doesn't have any money and she wants to be a nun.… ...

WAI-CHUN writes a Charge Sheet with SEI-WAI's blood. When she delivers it to the Yamen, she meets KING-CHUEN. KING-CHUEN says that he will be there for the case and they make a bet with each other. WAI-CHUN learns that KING-CHUEN is very tactful. She worries that she will lose and she tries to run away at night but CHOW KUK stops her. During the hearing, YIN-HAU says that SEI-WAI and CHOR-CHOR are committing adultery and SEI-WAI collapses. WAI-CHUN claims that she is SEI-WAI's assistant and she speaks for him tactfully. CHING-KO is convinced by her and YIN-HAU loses the case. KING-CHUEN is not able to attend the hearing because of WAI-CHUN's trick. However, he is not angry at all and he appreciates WAI-CHUN very much. CHOR-CHOR is free and SO CHUN suggests her to stay in Good Havest Temple. However, CHOR-CHOR wants to earn a living and she decides to open a bean curd shop. YEE-MING is the man in black who gives money to the poor.… ...

HA HAU-MO reminds BAO HEUNG to be aware of the person in black but BAO HEUNG says that the person in black is nice person. When CHOW KUK and CHOR-CHOR go out, it rains suddenly. CHOW KUK wants to give an umbrella to the scholar FAN KANG who looked at her but she mistakenly recognizes DOR-WAH as FAN KANG. CHOW KUK accidentally falls into a puddle and FAN KANG offers help to her. FAN KANG is preparing for the examinations and he wants to find a quiet place to study. CHOW KUK brings him to SEI-WAI's school. WAI-CHUN believes that SEI-WAI is not able to earn a living and she suggests him to write Charge Sheet for others. KING-CHUEN suggests to make a bet with WAI-CHUN again by randomly selecting a case at the court but WAI-CHUN rejects him. HA HAU-MO tries to find out more information from the witness but the only witness is a blind musician KUK FUNG. SEI-WAI introduces FAN KANG to HA HAU-MO.… ...

CHOW KUK helps HA HAU-MO to investigate the case and FAN KANG joins her as well. YEE-MING visits CHOR-CHOR's bean curd shop and he wants to buy all the bean curd there. SO CHUN asks his wife to test if YEE-MING has difficulty in hearing things. WAI-CHUN accepts KING-CHUEN's challenge eventually. She requests to have KING-CHUEN's house as well as his chef if she wins. KING-CHUEN requests her to marry him if he wins. WAI-CHUN chooses to speak for LAW YAU-LOI. FAN KANG discloses to everybody that YEE-MING is deaf. This ruins WAI-CHUN's plan and FAN KANG decides to move out. CHOW KUK suggests him to stay in an old temple temporarily. FAN KANG knows that CHOW KUK is fond of him and they stay in the temple together for the night. WAI-CHUN hopes that SEI-WAI will speak for YAU-LOI at the court but SEI-WAI rejects her. KUK FUNG tells the past story of HEI-FUNG and MUNG-KAT was part of the cause of her disappearance long time ago. NGAN YUEN's best friend Sweetie YUEN is chasing after some villagers. SEI-WAI believes that the villagers have eaten NGAN YUEN's meat. SEI-WAI tries to console Sweetie YUEN by telling lies.… ...

CHING-KO tortures PANG CHEONG and he faints. FAN KANG requests to postpone the hearing. YAU-LOI's aunt Madam CHEUNG visits SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN to thank them. HA HAU-MO cannot bear to scold SEI-WAI for telling lies at the court. KING-CHUEN prepares three winning tips for FAN KANG. If FAN KANG fails to find a solution, he could open the tips. A killer appears to kill the real murderer and WAI-CHUN tries to rescue him. HA HAU-MO appears on time to save WAI-CHUN but the killer runs away. WAI-CHUN and SEI-WAI meet KING-CHUEN and FAN KANG on the street. They start an argument with each other. WAI-CHUN claims that she will find the evidence in three days and win the case. SEI-WAI brings WAI-CHUN to Six Arts Club to look for evidence. After getting the Erhu, SEI-WAI says that he has confidence to win the case. SEI-WAI enters the court confidently but FAN KANG humiliates him. FAN KANG already knew their findings and he tells the truth before them. WAI-CHUN loses the bet. CHOW KUK follows FAN KANG and she discovers that he is walking along the places they have went together before. CHOW KUK also discovers that FAN KANG is watching WAI-CHUN secretly and she questions him. FAN KANG admits that he is fond of WAI-CHUN and CHOW KUK is heart-broken.… ...

When SEI-WAI throws away the medicine, he discovers CHOW KUK crying at the alley. CHOW KUK complains tearfully that all men are fond of WAI-CHUN. HEI-FUNG is almost sexually harassed by somebody and WAI-CHUN rescues her. WAI-CHUN asks HEI-FUNG about MUNG-KAT. CHOW LAN reveals to SEI-WAI that CHOW KUK has been missing for a few days and everybody is worried. WAI-CHUN tries to test SEI-WAI. KING-CHUEN hints that he will not give WAI-CHUN to FAN KANG. MUNG-KAT arrives at Ching Sum County secretly but Butler YIM discovers him. WAI-CHUN questions MUNG-KAT about HEI-FUNG and the illegitimate child. MUNG-KAT admits that he had pursued HEI-FUNG before but he was not successful and they did not have any children. KING-CHUEN wants FAN KANG to become his Godson and YEE-MING is heartbroken. KING-CHUEN blames YEE-MING for being incapable and he asks him to stay away during the Godson adoption ceremony.… ...

KING-CHUEN pretends to be friendly with MUNG-KAT. He reveals that he told everybody that FAN KANG is MUNG-KAT's son just because he wants to find MUNG-KAT. HA HAU-MO is very angry to see MUNG-KAT. CHOW KUK tries to stop HA HAU-MO from killing MUNG-KAT but HA HAU-MO convinces her instead. However, LO BIU persuades HA HAU-MO to give up the idea successfully. MUNG-KAT discovers that CHIT-CHIT's grave is emptied. KING-CHUEN has stolen the bones and he asks MUNG-KAT to meet him at Poon's Mansion. KING-CHUEN wants to fight with MUNG-KAT again in the court. SEI-WAI appreciates YEE-MING for having a kind heart and he becomes YEE MING's master. YEE-MING and TUK accidentally discover that Squire WING is kicking the villagers away in a cruel way for he wants to buy Ngau Village. The villagers discover it and Squire WING asks KING-CHUEN to fight for him in the court.… ...

CHING-KO punishes YEE-MING mildly but KING-CHUEN requests to send YEE-MING to jail and he wants to disown him. MUNG-KAT and WAI-CHUN live together in a remote location secretly. WAI-CHUN suggests to fight against KING-CHUEN together but MUNG-KAT rejects her. WAI-CHUN learns that KING-CHUEN wants to disown his son. She discovers SEI-WAI buying a lot of food and she suspects that he is allowing another woman to live in the school. YIU-WAI reports MUNG-KAT's whereabouts to KING-CHUEN. HEI-FUNG comes out from Yee Heung Court. KING-CHUEN wants to walk her home and MUNG-KAT arrives to walk her home as well. FAN KANG learns that KING-CHUEN has almost started a fight with MUNG-KAT because of HEI-FUNG. He reveals that he could arrange a private singing performance by HEI-FUNG for KING-CHUEN. FAN KANG asks CHOW KUK to help persuade HEI-FUNG to perform for him.… ...

CHOW KUK and FAN KANG leave Ching Sum County together but FAN KANG runs away from the boat when CHOW KUK is sleeping. FAN KANG learns that KING-CHUEN is being attacked and he rushes to Poon's Mansion. KING-CHUEN suspects that FAN KANG is not trustworthy and he asks YIU-WAI's body guard to kick FAN KANG away. HEI-FUNG admits that she has killed Butler YIM but WAI-CHUN doesn't believe in it. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN discover FAN KANG and CHOW KUK. They ask them to visit HEI-FUNG in the jail. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN go to HEI-FUNG's home to look for evidences. CHOW KUK discovers FAN KANG's note. She follows HA HAU-MO to the western part of the town and discovers a dead body by the riverside. KING-CHUEN sues HEI-FUNG for attacking him with a knife and killing Butler YIM. HEI-FUNG admits it without giving any explanation. SEI-WAI says that the case is not as simple as it appears to be.… ...

HEI-FUNG is pitiful and CHING-KO decides to exile her instead of killing her. YEE-MING and MUNG-KAT come to say goodbye to HEI-FUNG and all villagers send her food. KING-CHUEN deletes YEE-MING's name in the pedigree. He gives FAN KANG the name YEE-LUNG and he adds this name to the pedigree. FAN KANG decides to leave Ching Sum County with HEI-FUNG. CHOW KUK says goodbye to him and she reveals that she will wait for him. CHING-KO goes to Good Harvest Temple to eat bean curd pudding. He wants to invest in CHOR-CHOR's shop but SO CHUN sees through his plan. SEI-WAI borrows the country's law and regulations from CHING-KO. CHING-KO believes that once SEI-WAI becomes an attorney, KING-CHUEN's status will be affected. SEI-WAI says that only WAI-CHUN's Charge Sheet is strong enough to fight against KING-CHUEN. WAI-CHUN wants to collaborate with him and she suggests to transform Confucius Academy into an Attorney Office.… ...

After feeling CHOW LAN's pulse, doctor HONG KWOK-CHOI reveals that she is not pregnant. SO CHUN asks him to keep the secret for him. WAI-CHUN stands in the rain in front of HA HAU-MO's house. She hopes that HA HAU-MO will stop blaming SEI-WAI. MUNG-KAT meets KEUNG CHUNG at the restaurant. LO BIU and HA HAU-MO follow TAI-SHAN but TAI-SHAN refuses to admit that he had told lies at the court. When MUNG-KAT is going to the court, SEI-WAI asks him to take him as an apprentice. CHOW LAN wants to find a concubine for her husband and she approaches CHOR-CHOR. With everybody's efforts, TAI-SHAN finally agrees to tell the truth. MUNG-KAT suggests HA HAU-MO and WAI-CHUN to get married. MUNG-KAT and LO BIU believe that they have found new evidence. They request CHING-KO to put the case of missing gold to court again. SEI-WAI doesn't want YEE-MING to mention about his relationship with WAI-CHUN and he asks WAI-CHUN to be his master. TAI-SHAN invites TO KONG to meet up at the old temple. MUNG-KAT and CHING-KO wait outside the temple secretly. TAI-SHAN reveals to TO KONG that he will tell others that TO KONG has bribed him. TO KONG wants to kill him but KING-CHUEN suddenly appears and this ruins MUNG-KAT's plan.… ...

As instructed by CHING-KO, HA HAU-MO goes to Poon's Mansion to capture TO KONG but TO KONG resists it. KING-CHUEN promises to speak for him at the court. KING-CHUEN turns down all the evidences provided by MUNG-KAT. He even finds three witnesses to prove that TO KONG were not in Ching Sum County during the crime. CHING-KO releases TO KONG eventually. CHING-KO sends wedding invitation to SO CHUN. He believes that he can marry CHOR-CHOR as his concubine after the wedding but SO CHUN is faster than him. When CHOW LAN goes shopping with her younger sister and CHOR-CHOR, she suddenly collapses. When she returns home, she overhears SO CHUN's conversation with the doctor KWOK-CHOI and she scolds SO CHUN for playing tricks. LO BIU suffers from psoriasis. HA HAU-MO suggests him to retire and take a rest at home. YIU-WAI reveals that there is an update on the case. KING-CHUEN accuses LO BIU for killing TAI-SHAN.… ...

MUNG-KAT fails to find any evidence to prove that LO BIU is not the murderer. Since KING-CHUEN performs brilliantly at the court, CHING-KO finally gives a death sentence to LO BIU. HA HAU-MO is angry with MUNG-KAT because of the case. WAI-CHUN prepares soup for HA HAU-MO secretly but HA HAU-MO scolds her for wasting her time. YIU-WAI's wound is swelling and KWOK-CHOI reveals that his blood is contaminated. He believes that the one who attacked him has infectious disease. YIU-WAI believes that TAI-SHAN's ghost is disturbing him. He begs TO KONG to help him but TO KONG wants to keep a distance from him. YIU-WAI follows MUNG-KAT's suggestion to hide away. MUNG-KAT convinces YIU-WAI to speak the truth but KING-CHUEN stops them on the way. WUI-CHUN fails to treat LO BIU's psoriasis and HA HAU-MO scolds him. WAI-CHUN's father is missing and she asks HA HAU-MO to help finding him.… ...

YEE-MING looks for TUK at Poon's Mansion and KING-CHUEN discovers it. KING-CHUEN discovers that TUK has stolen his secret technique book. He therefore beats both of them fiercely. WUI-CHUN finds a strong folk prescription and LO BIU's condition is improved. WUI-CHUN reveals that the emperor's mother is seriously ill and the emperor is planning to set all prisoners free. LO BIU might be released as well. WAI-CHUN returns to her home town but she fails to find her father. She meets her fiancé CHAK instead. YEE-MING decides to be his father's apprentice and WAI-CHUN scolds him for having no loyalty at all. YEE-MING becomes one of the finalists for the apprenticeship. The tycoon's son CHUNG SAI-KIT is very arrogant and he becomes one of the finalists as well. WAI-CHUN, SEI-WAI and HA HAU-MO go to carry out investigation at YIU-WAI's place. They discover that both the bed and the blanket are pierced.… ...

LO BIU is killed and YIU-WAI is missing. CHING-KO asks CHIU LAI to take up LO BIU's position temporarily. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN go to the Yamen to look for HA HAU-MO and they discover that he is on leave. When they leave, they overhears DOR-WAH and the others' conversation. They realize that KWOK-CHOI has treated YIU-WAI's wound before. WAI-CHUN accidentally discovers her father's shoes outside YIU-WAI's place. She goes to the Yamen to look for HA HAU-MO with the shoes but HA HAU-MO has resigned already. WAI-CHUN discovers the relationship between TAI-SHAN and YIU-WAI's murder case. She comments that KING-CHUEN has been misleading them. However, HA HAU-MO believes that the presence of an attorney means that there will be no justice. YEE-MING discovers that one of the rooms at Poon's Mansion is locked. He also hears the sound of a person from a well. KING-CHUEN invites WAI-CHUN to Poon's Mansion.… ...

LEUNG CHI is killed. The owner of Top Scholar Restaurant says that HA HAU-MO was there when he last saw LEUNG CHI. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN meet HA HAU-MO at the restaurant. HA HAU-MO wants to break up with WAI-CHUN and WAI-CHUN resorts to drink. Another attorney is killed. The words "All attorneys are evil" are marked on the dead person's belly and everybody name the killer as the attorney killer. KING-CHUEN says that HA HAU-MO is the main suspect. YEE-MING says that HA HAU-MO wanted to kill KING-CHUEN before at Poon's Ancestral Hall. Somebody invites BAO HEUNG to meet up and SEI-WAI accompanies her. He discovers that the one who invited BAO HEUNG is TAI-FU. SEI-WAI tells WAI-CHUN how he got to know TAI-FU and he believes that TAI-FU is involved in the case of missing gold. DOR-WAH and CHOW KUK follow MO. They discover that MO has killed an attorney on the hill.… ...

The masked TO KONG threatens TAI-FU to give him two hundred thousand taels of gold and he will release SAI-KIT afterwards. SEI-WAI wants to speak for HA HAU-MO at the court but HA HAU-MO rejects him. MUNG-KAT knows that SAI-KIT is the son of TAI-FU, the richest man in Oi Chi County. He believes that KING-CHUEN has kidnapped SAI-KIT for money. SO CHUN follows YUK-WAN to Good Harvest Temple. CHOW LAN overhears that YUK-WAN admires SO CHUN and she starts a fight with her. SO CHUN discovers that HA HAU-MO is killing somebody again. KING-CHUEN believes that somebody pretended to be HA HAU-MO to kill others. Attorney FUNG is killed and TO KONG unmasks the killer DOR-WAH. However, DOR-WAH fights back by saying that TO KONG is the one who killed many people before. When TO KONG tries to capture DOR-WAH, HA HAU-MO suddenly arrives to subdue him. CHING-KO hears the case in the middle of the night.… ...

TO KONG asks KING-CHUEN to help him or he will betray him. YEE-MING and TUK rescue MUNG-KAT and SAI-KIT from the secret chamber but KING-CHUEN discovers them. MUNG-KAT tries to distract KING-CHUEN so that the others could escape. MUNG-KAT meets YIU-WAI and they decide to report KING-CHUEN's misbehavior to the court together. YEE-MING and TUK visit SEI-WAI. HA HAU-MO brings people to Poon's Mansion for investigation but they fail to find any evidence. After returning to Oi Chi County, SAI-KIT sells the farmlands and shops. HA HAU-MO asks SAI-KIT to be the witness against KING-CHUEN. However, SAI-KIT says that he doesn't know MUNG-KAT at the court. SEI-WAI believes that KING-CHUEN has kidnapped TAI-FU to threaten SAI-KIT. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN follow Grandpa LAU. HA HAU-MO monitors SAI-KIT but he has fallen into KING-CHUEN's trap. When TAI-FU is escaping, he cries aloud that MUNG-KAT is trying to kill him.… ...

As requested by WAI-CHUN, CHOW LAN and her sister beg YUK-WAN to help delaying the final judgment time. SEI-WAI and the others do not understand why TAI-FU was calling MUNG-KAT's name before his death. BAO HEUNG reveals her speculation to them. CHING-KO decides to resume YIU-WAI's duty. WAI-CHUN tries to question all the people living near the location where TAI-FU was killed. She even wants to bribe the TING's family to provide false statement. Granny POON visits KING-CHUEN but she is being kicked away. SEI-WAI allows her to stay in his place. After observing SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN, Granny POON comments that they are fond of each other. MUNG-KAT wants WAI-CHUN to fulfill his wish by marrying HA HAU-MO. HA HAU-MO discusses the wedding plan with WAI-CHUN but WAI-CHUN reveals that she no longer loves him. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN get married at the prison.… ...

KONG HO-HOI, the head cashier from Wui Tung Bank, arrives late because of an accident on the way. HO-HOI reveals that he might be able to help MUNG-KAT. Granny POON returns to Poon's Mansion. KING-CHUEN asks the chef to prepare very cold, very hot or greasy food to her. He doesn't want his mother to stay alive by mid-autumn festival. SEI-WAI and WAI-CHUN dress up in Black Cotton Rose's outfits but KING-CHUEN captures them. Luckily, DOR-WAH discovers them and he brings them to the court. SEI-WAI wonders why KING-CHUEN has got four million taels of bank drafts but KING-CHUEN explains it with excuses. Later, HA HAU-MO brings YIU-WAI to the court and reveals that he is keeping a lot of bank drafts in the countryside. YIU-WAI tries to make excuse as well.… ...
