Discuss Game of Thrones

Please keep in mind this only my opinion. I think that Khaleesi/Mother of Dragons is going to light 'em up. Her remaining dragon will rain fire down on King's Landing making everyone instant BBQ. The "Hound" will wind up doing battle with his brother "The Mountain". Meanwhile Queen Cerci is going out in a blaze of glory. But not before throwing a massive sex orgy the likes of which will make Caliguia look tame. King's Landing will look like London after the blitzkrieg. Then the screen will slowly fade to black as "Raines of Castemere " (The special extended mix) plays over the credits. Oh and all the while Bran/The Three Eyed Raven will simply gaze out from his wheelchair with that creepy smile.

She's a Targaryen psychopath who is reverting back to type as a result of the shock from the personal tragedy that she has just suffered after a life time of fighting for the people. She's suffered Tyron's /Varyses numerous efforts to moderate her power/anger over the people , but she's learnt that when SHE TAKES CONTROL and TRUSTS HER INSTINCTS she gets the dirty work done.

BURN THEM - BURN THEM ALL, should be the family motto.

The motto is Fire and Blood, so pretty close grin

Yes that's what someone said as someone else told them they were never good at riddles???

Was it Varys who said it to TYRION???

Thanks for explaining who the MAD KING is Jessica!

You reply is very much appreciated, because someone else also recently mentioned him and I had no idea who it was.

So does that also mean we never actually saw JAMIE killing him???

Which would also explain the reason why one doesn't remember who he was???

Because when the show begins her other EVIL BROTHER was already in POWER, which came to an end when Dany's husband poured the LIQUID GOLD down his throat.

thinking

Dany's evil brother, Viserys, was never in power. He was derisively referred to as The Beggar King. He attempted to get the Dothraki to support his bid to overthrow Robert Baratheon by basically selling Dany to Khal Drogo. He offended the Dothraki so he was killed by them in the "Golden Crown" episode.

@Invidia said:

So WHO was in power when he sells his sister to DROGO???

And if someone else had POWER, why didn't they do anything to STOP her brother from abusing her that way???

Robert Baratheon, and then Geoffrey. Robert won the throne by usurping the mad king.

Robert had no interest in Dany's welfare. Any living Targaryens were a threat to him. He tried to have her assassinated.

So inheritance also doesn't have much to do with the situation IF someone can also TAKE that right away from someone else???

This stuff can be confusing, can't it???

So WHY are others predicting that BRAN will be the one to sit on the THRONE???

What right does he have to it???

And technically speaking GEOFFREY also wasn't the son of ROBERT either.

In a monarchy the right to the throne is inherited. It can also be won in battle, ala Robert, or taken in a palace coup, ala Cersei.

Geoffrey would still legally be Robert's son. They could not prove that he wasn't Robert's biological son.

Your guess is as good as mine on the Bran thing.

The Bran thing is really strange; why would anyone support him? If he can't, as he says, be Lord of Anything, how could he be king?

@Invidia said:

Didn't someone also already prove Robert wasn't the father of Cersei's children by the use of their hair color being BLOND … which is a RESESSIVE trait that wouldn't show up when someone MATES with someone else with more DOMINANT DNA TRAITS like Robert had??? I think there was talk of this after someone read something about it in a BOOK???

thinking

And IF people don't want TYRION to be their KING because of the way he was born … then why would they want someone else to RULE them who is even more ABNORMAL ... due to the way he sits around in the wheel chair and takes what looks like LSD ACID TRIPS???

Bran definitely isn't someone I'd want to RULE my Kingdom.

He's just way too STRANGE with all of his talk about a 3 EYED RAVEN and his having been to some kind of TREE COLLEGE.

grin

Ned Stark and the previous Hand of the King, Jon Arryn, both studied old birth records and came to the conclusion that Robert was not the father of Cercei's children. I don't know if that would cut it in a Westeros court of law, lol. Really what matters is whether the King is believed by the people to be the true King. When a monarch loses that support, something will happen to overthrow them eventually.

I definitely cannot see Bran in any kind of leadership role. I don't think that he does either. If that is the way it goes I will be very disappointed.

I agree, that is a big stretch and would be a very unsatisfying ending.
