Yes - I ended up here - I miss the message boards of IMDB mostly because of the incredible range of knowledge that some contributors shared so willingly. There were some great people there - but also some vicious morons. I hope the former migrate here and leave the trolls to the wilderness !!
I still drop by IMDb to check out obscure/foreign/cult films that show up at strange hours on, say , Turner Class Movies. I too miss the wide ranging message boards, which were more fun than a "mere movie." (Message boards were also dumped at Last.fm, which made this music site the talk of the Internet.) Speaking of music, drop by Songfacts.com and discuss new/old/obscure songs and other music-related subjects.
