As weird as it looks, that's how the series originally aired in the US on FOX. The network pulled the series out of its schedule in 2008 after airing only seven episodes of Season 3. That usually means a series is cancelled. However, 'Til Death was unexpectedly renewed for a fourth season which started airing about a year later. Season 4 is composed of both the unaired episodes and new episodes produced for the fourth season.
That being said, we can create alternative episode orders with the episode group feature. Free to create a new one for the German (TV? DVD?) order if the order you're looking for is not already covered by one of the existing groups.
