I like how Lynch honoured the fans while also challenging and screwing with them. He’s in the business of creating mysteries, so he uses what we know and love and does something strange with it.
I would like to have seen more Coop, and found the penultimate episode a tad basic with the super strong kid punching a Bob-orb, but that was one rather uninspired moment amongst a sea of surprising and confounding wonders. Shame it came at such a pivotal moment.
I would like to have spent some more time in Twin Peaks and seen the characters interact as a community. Twin Peaks the town was almost an afterthought, and if the ‘new timeline’ theory is true, then the entire story ‘never happened’, which doesn’t really sit right.
Questions:
Do we ever find out what happened to Annie?
What’s up with Audrey and her bizarre storyline? Was she dreaming it?
Was Cooper able to hang out in both the Black and White Lodges during his 25 year imprisonment?
How come he isn’t psychologically traumatised after being locked in hell for over two decades? Yes I know Dougie, but he’s fine after... an electric shock.
Coopers costly efforts don’t seem to be succeeding, he’s trapped once again - what’s Twin Peaks really about?
I’ll likely have more questions but if anyone wants to have a stab at those, or just share their thoughts in the series, please do.

Thanks, very helpful. I’ll start a new thread with my thoughts so far....
