Since 2005 it is known that when you're head of The Lyell Centre, then the only way to leave is in a body bag.
Leo Dalton and Thomas Chamberlain know this. Will the next head also?
Of course, just being a member of the team can be deadly too. It's up to the writers to decide how the character leaves the series, alive - how boring - or dead - another shocker for the viewers.

The show has been renewed for two more series. I was referring to the fact that when an actor leaves this show, there's a good chance that his or her character will die, especially if they're the head of The Lyell.

Well, the new pathologist Dr. Adam Yuen only stayed alive for 2 cases (four episodes). He is replaced by Simone Tyler. She will certainly be around much longer, perhaps several series. The writers won't dare to kill her off like the others.
