Episodes 1-18 are mixed up. The correct order can also be seen at https://www.thetvdb.com/series/cowboy-bebop/seasons/official/1.

The episodes are listed in the order they were initially broadcast.
You can use this episode group if you want them in the intended order.

The original broadcast skipped many episodes. Only in the second run all episodes were broadcasted AND in correct order. I don't think this is the way TMDB wants to sort episodes.
I don't want to list the episodes online. I (and many others) use clients like Plex, Emby or Kodi. When they get data from TMDB there is no way to use another order priority. Please help!

The TMDB rules is to always use the first broadcast order. We don't make exceptions to this rule.
As for the players, I don't know for Plex and Emby, but Kodi is perfectly able to use the episode groups.
