On the site, I don't understand that by clicking on the seasons of a show, it's always the order of broadcast of the episodes by default.
For apps like Kodi or Emby that retrieve data via API, we don't want the order of episode broadcasts in the library, people want the chronological order of the story.

This is the main rule of this site, except for a few cases where the data aren't available.

I understand that's the main rule for the site. It's a choice. I respect and it's OK. but in my view, it's the defined order of production that must take precedence over the order of the broadcaster.

The episodes are in the original airing order. You can use this episode group to get the intended order.

Yes, episode groups can be requested via the API.
Kodi is perfectly able to use them : https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:TMDb_TV_Shows#Episode_Orders
For Emby, I don't know as I don't use this application.
