This is the grisly tale of a Turkish man simply named The Sultan because he believed he was one. He lived with his wives, his many children, harem, and a small army of guards. Known to throw "pleasure parties" with opium and abstinthe, he liked to kidnap and torture women and young boys until one day a neighbor saw a stream of blood flowing from his front door. The police found a massacre inside; all of his entourage were killed and The Sultan himself was found buried alive in the courtyard out back.

Sister Katherine was a nun who tried to protect her nine orphans from the Great Storm of 1900 (or 1900 Galveston Hurricane) that swept through the area. Joel's ghost still haunts the Burlington County Prison and can be seen and heard chained up in his former death row jail cell in solitary confinement.

The season finale tells the story of Dr. Edwards who remains behind at Linda Vista Community Hospital making his rounds on his ghostly patients. The good doctor's ghost is still trying to redeem himself for losing a shot-up gang member's life who died on his operating table years ago.
