Just how many more boxes will this show tick before it sinks beneath it's own weight in political correctness gone mad. There are disadvantaged people in the world - and they deserve our sympathy and consideration - but do we have to have them all in one episode of this series merely to be politically correct - that seems to me to be advantageous to us - not to them. The episode concerns the death of an ex soldier who was homeless. His ex- wife is in a relationship with a black woman - the sublimal influence of making a child prefer this woman to her mother did not go unnoticed - even a child accepts mixed race relationships - my gosh - that was subtle. A dwarf woman and a transgender person made an appearance - and that's all it was - there was no place for either of these characters in the story - beyond illustrating the sycophancy of the writer. She has obviously realised that this is the new "must do" if you want your work to be accepted. The ending was too sick making for words The show is already too long and too draggy and too broken up by endless adverts that account for a third of the viewing time. You have to tape it in order to endure it. I will not be watching any more episodes of this show.

I think the point of their appearance was that there was "no place", or is it assumed that all roles are to be played by straight white actors and actresses unless the role specifically requires it?

With so many ticked boxes, this time the murderer has to be in one of them.
