Discuss True Detective

If they do a season 3 of True Detective I hope that McConaughey and Harrelson return. Season 2 had it's issues, but overall I didn't think it was too bad. One of the biggest issues was that it was missing it's two leading stars from season 1. I think they played a certain role in the series structure that couldn't be replicated with other actors. Also, since it's an analogy series they wouldn't even necessarily have to play the same characters from season 1. They could play a new set of characters with a new story line.

heard an interview with McConaughey recently on Howard Stern. He said season 1 was always going to be a one off which is why he took it as he didn't want to get locked into something long term. However, he did say if a script for another season came by his way that he absolutely loved, much like he did season 1 of TD, he would definitely sign on for it. Especially if Woody was on board.

please let it come true

thanks for the tip.
