Hi. Is it on Netflix? I've never heard of it...it might be interesting to capture 19th century Whitechapel, but the Jack the Ripper story is frustrating because no official perp was ever agreed upon. I've heard some fascinating theories that identify a suspect who left London, landed in the USA, and bodies started turning up there...but, again, that suspect has not been agreed upon as the official "we know who did it, why and how."

This series is 98% NOT about Jack the Ripper. It's about after that investigation and of the investigating team.

I wish the series had not ended.

But, how interesting can "the investigating team" be if they failed to apprehend a suspect?

Having said that, I did say a show just about 19th century Whitechapel itself would be interesting...but, the only reason most people would be interested in 19th century Whitechapel is the towering specter of the Ripper murders. Hard to escape it.

Watch the series and find out! 😀
