Discuss Kolchak: The Night Stalker

You know, the one on THAT website, whose name eludes me at the moment. Now it's just us here. Now we're all alone. May God have mercy on our souls... disappointed

@brimfin Good job mate. Maybe they can one day be replanted in these very forums.

I remember some excellent Doctor Who reviews on a website called Gallifrey something (not Gallifreyone).
One guy had gone through and reviewed all the episodes and the effort and care in his reviews was amazing. The website went defunct and then disappeared so I thought they were lost, but the waybackmachine had archived the site so I saved them.

I checked to see if it had for the IMDb boards but sadly not.

All is not lost, fellow Sages, especially for me. I went back to our old discussions and copied them down.

Way to go, brimfin! smile beers fireworks

I didn't know how to save them in the same format, but I highlighted them and copied them to Word documents.

Oh, well, it's a pity we didn't talk about it. All you had to do was click "nest" so all messages would appear and then save the page as an html file. I did save everything on the Kolchak board (I figured you'd need them for your "by the numbers" article), as well as the entries on the UFO board concerning voting for the next show and all about the "choose a name for the group" drama. But I wasn't sure there was even a point in saving the rest and I thought we were practically done, so I hesitated. Now, on the other hand, I'm starting to have some interesting ideas for this year, like creating a simple website where we can post properly formatted reviews with pictures. This is not something difficult at all. Well, better luck next time.

It's really nice you have the messages, even if in .doc format. Perhaps in the future I can spend some time reformatting them. You get 10 free sagely pearls of wisdom that would baffle even God, the Devil and Bob.

They said they would give us time to "prepare." They said they would give us to the 20th. But they never said what time zone.

Australian time?

I figured it was the 20th somewhere. It was already night here, so I'm assuming GMT. Which, by the way, would be the correct choice.

Makes sense. But since Australia is among the first places to ring in each New Year, I figured that guess would be satirically appropriate. wink

Indeed. In that case, New Zealand would work better. Best of all, Providenya, Russia. grin
