Currently watching re-runs on MeTV. I'm sure some content is cut to fit into current "one-hour" format to accommodate commercials. In a scene near the end of the episode, Kolchak encounters a mauled body on the floor of one of the cabins. It's obviously someone he knows from the cruise, based on his reaction to the body. But who? He's forced to flee as the werewolf approaches, so one (not me, anyway!) can't get a "vibe" who the body is supposed to be? Any thoughts?

SPOILERS:
Kolchak is now on tubi.tv, with commercials (which is okay with me) and a pause function (yay!). One cannot see the face of the mauled body on the floor of the cabin. But I can now see it was wearing the shirt used by Dick Gautier's character, in an earlier scene. The story never went back to the Nita Talbot character either, so I could have assumed the body may have been hers. Wrong!
I remember the first episode of the series, The Ripper, when Kolchak found the body of guest star Beatrice Colen in the Ripper's closet. I was thinking maybe The Werewolf followed a pattern of killing off female guest stars.
