Movies that are in Specials Should be Movie Entries

There are multiple movie information entered in the specials (season 0) section, however, according to the bible:
Movies are added as movie entries and shouldn't be duplicated in the specials.
Therefore, the episodes that are movies should be deleted in my opinion.

Oops, I just made this report myself. 00x04 and 00x07 were both theatrically released movies and already have TMDB entries. I'm not very familiar with 00x10 and 00x11 but they might be as well.

I agree with @NavySealsGuy about 00×04.
According to my research and Japanese Wikipedia (Gintama (anime), Jump Festa):
Please see the table on Japanese Wikipedia. I think the episodes that are there "really" should be in here. I am not sure about the special episodes in the festivals that are not broadcasted are on TMDb, but let's say we should keep them (JFA05, JSA08, JSA14, and JSA15). But the ones that doesn't have special episodes and simply "a festival" should be deleted I think (00×03, 00×05, 00×06). Also, as stated previously, the movie should be deleted for sure (00×04, 00×08, 00×09). I think 00×11 and 00×12 is perfectly fine to stay. I am not sure about 00×13 and 00×14. Not only because it already has a different page but I am not sure if that really is "an episode." Also, I found "The Semi-Final" episode as different entry but I think that should be here.
So as a conclusion, I think 00×03, 00×04, 00×05, 00×06, 00×08, 00×09 should be deleted for sure.

Before your reply I had already remove what used to be 0x4 and 0x7. Noticed @NavySealsGuy's report indicating they were theatrically released.
I have also removed the two *The Best of *"episodes" from the Specials season.
Tough one. Monster Strike has its own page. Could be argued that it should be in the latter's special season and not Gintama's? With these sort of cross-overs and collaborations you can tell which one of the two (or three in some cases) parts/franchises is supposed to the be the "main".
The specials are at the end of the day, still specials, we have a tag for those episodes that have been theatrically released in some form. That should be enough, I do not see why should we remove them. Unless they are not related to the anime production and are closer (for putting in some way) to the source material.

I think we should have the following episodes in the specials:
The other episodes shouldn't be there.
I see. Yes, Jump Festa 2014 Special (Current 00×07) is theoretically released. But are you sure for Benizakura Arc Special (Current 00×04)? What is your source?? Are you sure it is not this? I mean there is an arc called "Benizakura Arc (紅桜篇)" but that is just another name for 02×09 to 02×12.
Yeah, this is hard. I never saw this episode so I can't really say anything about this... Maybe we can just keep the other page and delete this one.

Yes no problem here. The order should be Chronological. I'd re-order them properly when we settle this. Though not sure if we should keep the 2005 Special that was released before the first episode of the series...
The episodes 0x4 and 0x7 I meant in that comment were removed before I wrote that.
I re-arranged the episode numbers yesterday. The first movie was 0x4. Now it's the Benizakura Arc Special. I have no intention in removing that, unless you are making an argument to have it deleted?
Yeah, I'm fine with removing it. We'll keep the other page for now, and treat it as a regular 2-part standalone OVA.

Sorry the numbers were a confusing way to go about it! I agree with the choices made, the Arc Special should stay, and the jump fiesta stuff are essentially specials with a single introductory screening and should stay as well. I have no strong opinion on the monster strike crossovers, but might be worth keeping for those who want them.

Yeah, my list in my previous message is in chronological order. I mean, I don't think the episodes that are in specials are connected like in other seasons. They are mostly stand-alone episodes that couldn't go into the other seasons...
I agree with @NavySealsGuy, I also think Jump Festa stuff should stay but only if they had special episodes in it. This means, I think 00×03, 00×05, and 00×06 should be deleted because I don't think there were any new episodes in it. What do you think?

Yeah. What I meant by that was that most Specials usually have the same cast and crew of the regular episodes, regardless if they are not in continuity story-wise. But content released before the series is technically a separate production.
Pretty much what you said. Upon closer inspection I really don't see any reasons to keep live events that are barely related to the production itself.
Edit: Done, the collaboration episodes have been removed too as they have their own entry.
