Only two seasons?

What a shame BBC only made two seasons of this show. I wanted to see how this story continued.

It was a matter of low ratings. It also was overshadowed by Mr. Selfridge's on another network (ITV).

Weird! I tried to watch Mr.Selfridge’s when it came out but I just didn’t like it and I can’t put my finger on why.

You are welcome. I have seen both & did prefer The Paradise. The reason I didn't like Selfridge was because of Jeremy Piven.

I just do not like the actor, too smarmy!
