The music was underwhelming

For a series based on a novel with a wide range of musical references, you'd have thought that the sound people would've been more inventive.

I don't remember the music in this version anymore, but like all others the whole thing was pretty lame. Possibly, it's simply is one of those books where any attempts to do it justice on screen are doomed to fail. I don't even know how many times i've read it.

Indeed, I've heard it rumored that every on-screen adaptation of this book is cursed in some way or another.
