Love the show, hope it comes back, whether on NBC or Sy-FY, don't care which. But the last 20 minutes of the (season, I hope) finale felt very tacked on and awkward.

Interesting potential stories could flow like water, so I really hope it comes back. The final twist was at first a gasper, but now seems like not much a big deal. But it does lead to more questions.

Spoiler alert: are we ever going to find out HOW Flynn got Lucy's diary in the first place?

The Finale seemed too rushed and Flynn not carrying on with his plan to kill Rittenhouse members when he had the chance to, was absolutely out of character. After everything he did since the start of the season, it made very little sense that he wouldn't just do this one last thing to save his family. But then they would've had to wrap up the show.

Also, it seemed way too easy to get all those Rittenhouse guys arrested. The evidence would have never reached the right people. Rittenhouse was supposed to have control over everything.

There were certainly holes in this episode. I admit I got choked up when Lucy told Ethan in 1954 she was his granddaughter, and again when she met up with him in 2017. (That transition was too fast, though...I thought something else had to be going on.) I think Flynn grew an affinity for Lucy and wanted an alternate way of taking out Rittenhouse in order to save Lucy, although even that was out of character.

I hate the fact Lucy's mother is Rittenhouse, and how she called Amy someone nobody care's about. Rittenhouse is ruthless, but family is still important to them. How can she completely dismiss another daughter? Although, she didn't seem surprised at all when Lucy told her about Amy and the fact she was sick in the other timeline...almost as if she knew already. I also don't like how Flynn got screwed.

Two things I want to know is how does Flynn originally get the diary from Lucy, and why does Jiya see the 1930s when she spaces out.

Did Jiya see the 1930s, or the future? It was so fast, I thought is was a dystopian view of the future, with the Golden Gate mostly destroyed.

I also felt the finale tried to cover too much in too little time. Agreed, too, with the off-pacing between Lucy and her grandfather. Was too quick.

I guess the mom would know that Amy wouldn't have been "pure blood" Rittenhouse, and so maybe that's why she didn't really care about whether she ever existed? Plus, I would think it's hard to care about someone you don't know/never knew (though if I knew I had a child in another reality, I would want to know that child). Why do I defend her?!?

I thought the Golden Gate Bridge was destroyed as well, but I rewound and paused it, and it was during its construction, which was between 1933 - 1937.

Thanks. The kids and I argued for 20 mins. On how she could possibly have seen into the future, and what that meant for the show going forward.

The only hint at future time travel is how Flynn got that darn journal. Still curious about that.

The finale didn't really answer any questions or Close any arcs; it just opened up new possibilities. I was more surprised at the revelation Flynn's new pilot is Rittenhouse...

I was under the impression that perhaps Flynn doesn't know that. I didn't know it.

I have a feeling when the woman pilot saw Flynn kill the old guy and she mentions what he might do to her, she went and struck a deal with Rittenhouse. I don't necessarily think she was Rittenhouse all along. I mean if you're Rittenhouse why would you go hide out in the past with a bunch of primitive people?

That's the question- was she Rittenhouse all along? She did have lots of equipment, and how did she get there in the first place? Had Anthony dropped her off and then told Flynn her whereabouts? Or did Flynn take her? Or Rittenhouse, as a potential plant?

I think Flynn has no idea she's Rittenhouse.

I agree...just as Lucy didn't know her mom was.

I thought that was explained in her introduction episode. She was presumed dead on a mission. Anthony helped cover her escape, so Anthony is how Flynn found her. As for whether she was Rittenhouse all along, I have a hard time accepting that. They explained that the entire reason she went into hiding was to get away from Rittenhouse. Unless they are now trying to say she was born into it and rejected it, only to come around and accept their ideals now, I think, as another poster speculated, that she may have struck a deal after Anthony was murdered by Flynn.

Is it possible she's a double agent working against Rittenhouse? I hope so. Right now things look completely hopeless. That would be a cool twist.
