If the "big gun" explodes with a shot, why The Mandalorian didn't shoot the "big gun" at the first moment ..??

Why Moff Gideon give time to The Mandalorian....?? Why he didn´t atacck inmediatly ?

Sometimes writers abuse about our love.

Because then the episode would have been about 3 minutes long.
