Discuss Columbo

I have this question posted on multiple websites, and no one knows the answer. In the 1973 episode, Any Old Port in a Storm, there is a fisherman with a prominent mustache and thick black hair who finds the body of the the dead brother. It is even a speaking roll and he reveals the age of the deceased, yet he is not credited on film, and IMDB does not even have an actor listed as uncredited. The man is so familiar, but I cannot place a name. If anyone can aid me in finding out this actor's name I'd greatly appreciate it. I have trolled through hundreds of actors across the web and drawn a blank.

His picture I've posted on a Columbo fan group Facebook page: enter link description here

Definitely not. He's older and rougher than the first link (I looked at that guy very closely on IMDB), and he's huskier than the second link. What is driving me crazy is I was born in 1965 and I watched so much television in the 70s it isn't funny. I mean, I did my homework while watching tv and ate while watching, etc., etc. And I am sure that I know who he is, but can't dredge it up in my mind. I've even tried those websites where you can upload a picture and it looks for matches. The only site that says it found matches wanted 29.99 to let me me go to the link. I'm not paying that. It'll take time, but someone will remember for me or eventually it will come back to me naturally.

Thanks for the ideas!

So you have an image of the guy? Can you leave a link here? I was born in the early 50's, so I might know who he is if I can see a picture of him.

The link is in my original post. Don't know why it didn't show as the path, it just says enter link description here. I didn't know how to change it.

Sorry I don't do fb (and that particular page is private anyway), do you have an image of him somewhere else?

Oh shoot. I never thought of that. I wish I could just put a picture in my post. Here is where I grabbed it off TUBI. Go to 28:40: https://tubitv.com/tv-shows/586499/s03-e02-any-old-port-in-a-storm?start=true

He does look familiar, he's Hispanic I think & I don't think the mustache is real? Sorry, I can't give you a name though. It's odd that he wasn't included in the end credits?

That's okay. Thanks for trying. I really appreciate you taking the time.

I too felt, watching it again, that maybe the mustache was fake. It's so hard to tell. I keep thinking he's a football player turned actor. I'll keep at it. Someday...

Don't forget to come back here if you figure it out.

I sure will!
