October 25, 1982

The first TV special starring the rotund comic strip staple Garfield the Cat. Here, he and his dull-witted canine cohort Odie end up at the pound.

October 28, 1983

Garfield escapes from the car on a trip to the vet and finds the place where he grew up.

October 26, 1984

Garfield is taken on a camping trip by Jon, much against his will. A series of very funny disasters follow. But not all is well, as a panther has escaped from the local zoo and is stalking them. Will our hero survive to eat another lasagna and kick Odie off the table again?

Garfield and his pup pal Odie go trick-or-treating, only to wind up in a house haunted by ghostly pirates.

May 27, 1986

Garfield, Odie and Jon go vacationing on a tropical island along with the High Rama Lama of rock and roll, a princess and her cat - and a rumbling volcano.

Jon, Garfield and Odie audition for the talent show "Pet Search" in hopes of winning the $1000 prize and a chance at the finals in Hollywood.

December 21, 1987

Garfield, Jon and Odie go to Jon's family farm for Christmas, where Garfield finds a present for Grandma.

Creator Jim Davis's lovable fat cat -- the one and only Garfield (voiced by Lorenzo Music) -- is back in this comical 13-episode collection, taking time off between naps and lasagna binges to torment his dim-bulb doggy mate, Odie. Among the installments in this compilation are "The Fairy Dogmother," "Moo Cow Mutt," "Ode to Odie," "Odie the Amazing," "Airborne Odie" and "Odielocks and the Three Cats."

November 22, 1988

Garfield plays multiple roles including ancient Egyptian royalty, a fairyland kitten, a movie 'stunt cat" and more!

Garfield the cat daydreams that he's an old-time private detective.

November 22, 1989

On Thanksgiving, according to Garfield, people celebrate food by eating as much of it as possible. It's a tradition. But that tradition is history following a checkup from veterinarian Liz Wilson, a sassy lady who says Garfield must go on a diet.

Garfield and Odie fantasize that they are on a Middle-East mission to retrieve the Banana of Bombay, the symbol of humour to nations around the world.

May 8, 1991

Garfield and his owner, Jon Arbuckle, are in a rut. Life for them is a complete bore. They both need a life. Jon tries several unsuccessful times to get a date. Then he attends a class for the personality impaired where he meets a young woman and all seems to be great for Jon, but Garfield starts to feel neglected and left out.

June 29, 2004

Garfield as Himself gathers three thoroughly delightful Garfield television specials from the early 1980s, based on the pudgy, self-centered feline character and friends from Jim Davis's popular comic strip. Here Comes Garfield, Garfield on the Town, and Garfield Gets a Life.

No one loves the cold months better than acerbic fat cat Garfield, who thrives on a bounty of junk food and traditional meals in the delightful collection of musical-comedy TV specials Garfield Holiday Celebrations. "Garfield's Halloween Adventure" finds the portly hero and airhead-sidekick Odie the dog scrounging through owner Jon's attic to find perfect costumes, then encountering ghosts and ghoulies that seem a tad authentic. "Garfield's Thanksgiving" is a screwball special in which Jon harasses veterinarian Liz into being his Turkey Day guest. Trouble is, Jon is clueless about how to cook a big bird; fortunately, starving Garfield has the good sense to call in Jon's spirited grandmother for a culinary rescue. Grandma shows up, too, in "A Garfield Christmas," about a family get-together that covers all the nice holiday stuff and, of course, lots of bickering, pouting, and jealousy. As long as Garfield gets his Yuletide lasagna, however, all is right with the world.

October 18, 2005

In Emmy winner "Garfield in the Rough," Garfield lands in nature, and Odie dunks the pampered puss in a lake! "Garfield in Paradise" finds the fat cat on a tropical island with a rumbling volcano! Then, "Garfield Goes Hollywood" and auditions for a TV talent show "Pet Search," hoping to win $1,000 and make it to the national finals.

After eating a pound of pasta, Garfield sometimes falls asleep and has some pretty wild dreams -- like the one where he's so huge he can climb tall buildings, or where Odie gets his own cartoon, leaving Garfield to just keep sleeping! And this kitty's not so cool he can't get a little scared, like when he, Jon and Odie discover that a closed-down haunted house is really open, or that leftovers occasionally ran rampant in the fridge. Garfield has a big imagination, too, as you'll see when he imagines himself as a fish or a werewolf, or even Jon for a day! There's much more to the fat cat's story, so grab some pasta, flop on the couch and tune in for some cat-toon fun with Garfield!

Nerd is the word! Jo may not be much, but he's the only human they've got! He's not always purr-fectly well behaved, but Garfield is always there for Jon and Odie - there on the couch, there eating lasagne... but he's also there as a friend. So whether Jon's dealing with a lackluster love life, courting car trouble or even being conned by a convict, Garfield is one fat and furry friend for life!
