Time for remake?

There are so many people who don't know this film exists and I think it could be done with a modest budget and the genre is marketable... Is it time to re-introduce Misery to a new audience?

haha, nice one... i can just imagine some unpaid intern lurking around internet movie forums, trying to come up with "ideas" for his boss...

I do not see the point apart from money and lack of originality. The film has aged well. It's a classic. No discernable artistic reason to remake it.

I can just see it now... Fast cuts, green tint, CGI thunderstorm and a mediocre score!
Leave my Misery alone.
