That's a sweet scene.

"Curse of the Cat People" is to "Cat People" what "The Bride of Frankenstein" is to "Frankenstein". A unique follow-up to a classic start.

This is a great film, one of Val Lewton’s finest. The title is misleading, of course, but Lewton was forced to use it by RKO. I also loved I Walked with a Zombie thanks to those drums in the background, so moody!

Cat People and I Walked with a Zombie (in probably that order) are I think my two fave Val Lewton films.
