I just watched the film so I need a second view for a complete assessment and I might be suffering from Empire Strikes Back syndrome where the cliff hanger-downer "middle film" tends to have a more emotional impact but I don't think so. I felt the dialogue was more clever and snappy in the first film and the action was most definitely better. Not to mention that when it comes to the time travel deus ex machina there is always issues plot-wise. So while I suppose the conclusion is somewhat satisfying I just didn't get the same high as I got from Infinity.

Poor Quill is gonna have to swoon Gamora all over again.
